Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez have been chatting on Instagram to the delight of all Liverpool fans.
Anfield great Gerrard shared a picture of the pair celebrating a goal in a Merseyside Derby win on social media in the build-up to Saturday evening's clash.
The picture itself was from Liverpool's 3-0 destruction of their city neighbours back in March 2012 when the now Rangers manager scored all three goals, assisted by Suarez.
Posting the picture on Instagram, Gerrard said: "Derby day."
And the first comment to pop up was from former teammate and now La Liga topper with Atletico Madrid, Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan said: " I will never forget this amazing times! Legend @stevengerrard when I made you score a hat trick in a derby(followed by laughing emojis)."
And the LFC supporters certainly enjoyed the comment from their former player with almost 8,000 liking the comment already.
This evenings Merseyside Derby is set to be interesting, with both sides in desperate need of a win.
Liverpool are unbeaten in the past 23 meetings in all competitions against Everton (W11, D12).
It's the longest run without defeat against an opponent in their history.
Everton's current 20-match winless streak against Liverpool in the top flight is their worst against a single opponent.
The Merseyside Derby is also the most drawn fixture in Premier League history, with 24 matches ending level.
It has also produced a record 22 red cards.
However, neither side are in great-form recently, with the Toffees winning just one of their past five league matches.
Liverpool have also lost their last three, and the team's recent struggles led to boss Jurgen Klopp conceding the title after last weekend's 3-1 defeat at Leicester left them 13 points behind Manchester City.
