Liverpool fans loved Jordan Henderson's reaction to Barcelona captain Lionel Messi

Liverpool's historic victory over Barcelona on Tuesday night provided fans with many memorable moments.

But there is one moment in particular that has only just come to the attention of Reds supporters.

Early on in the first half Andy Robertson gave Lionel Messi a nudge to the face, and the Argentine was not impressed.

Later on in the match when Messi still aggrieved with Robertson, seemed to be airing his frustrations with the Scotsman.

Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson, who was a driving force throughout the second leg tie, quickly rushed back to defend his team-mate.

The England midfielder ran towards the world famous No.10 and pushed him away from the left-back.

Reds fans adored the leadership of their captain and the clip of the moment was widely shared on social media.

Jurgen Klopp will be looking for the same amount of passion and energy from his team as they host Wolves at Anfield on Sunday.
