Liverpool fans love what Sam Allardyce said after West Brom loss

Sam Allardyce was left fuming after Liverpool came from behind to clinch a stoppage-time victory over West Bromwich Albion with thanks to the most unlikely of match-winners on Sunday.

Alisson Becker headed home a last-gasp corner for Jurgen Klopp's side to keep the Reds' top four hopes alive and prompt wild celebrations both on the pitch and in the away dugout at the Hawthorns.

Having seen his first relegation from the Premier League confirmed last week, Allardyce was left feeling particularly bitter after the final whistle as he took issue with both Liverpool 's opening goal and a VAR-disallowed strike for his own side.

But it was his sarcastic response about Klopp that has grabbed the attention of Reds fans as the former England manager couldn't resist a dig at his Premier League and Champions League winning-counterpart.

"You know Jurgen, he always thinks he's right doesn't he?" Allardyce said. "He's always right so maybe I am today. He's a lucky man tonight and he knows it."

With Liverpool fans holding an unceremonious history with Allardyce, they wasted no time in responding to his bitter comments on social media after the game.
