Liverpool fans love what Andy Robertson did to Manchester United players Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford

Liverpool kept their hunt for a top-four finish alive on Thursday with a stellar 4-2 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Jurgen Klopp's side are four points behind Chelsea heading into the final week of the season but have a game in hand against already relegated West Brom tomorrow.

Victory against the Baggies would reduce the deficit to just a single point and encouragement is provided by the fact Chelsea face testing matches against Leicester City and Aston Villa to end their Premier League campaign.

Following a difficult season, Liverpool seem to have found their feet at the right occasion and shone during Thursday's victory against United.

The performance against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are raised optimism ahead of the final three matches of the season and fans spotted one particular moment that caught their eye.

Andy Robertson was shown storming back from an attacking position to halt Marcus Rashford's run forward on the counter attack.

Stopping Rashford with a sliding tackle, Robertson then skinned his way past Bruno Fernandes before laying the ball off to a teammate.

The clip sparked a discussion on Reddit with fans viewing the incident as a throwback to some of Robertson's best moments under Klopp.

Robertson has been a consistent performer for the Reds despite their difficult year and will captain Scotland at the upcoming European Championships.

The left-back was singled out for praise by Sir Alex Ferguson when discussing their chances of success at the tournament.

He said: "(Kieran) Tierney has been fantastic at Arsenal, absolutely fantastic, (Andy) Robertson the last two years at Liverpool has been unbelievable."
