Liverpool fans love what Adam Lallana has done for Brighton against Manchester United

Adam Lallana is finding his feet at his new club after leaving Liverpool this summer.

The 32-year-old spent six seasons at Anfield, making 178 appearances and scoring 22 goals in a Liverpool shirt.

He left the club this summer after the expiry of his contract.

After leaving the Reds, Lallana agreed a three-year contract with Brighton and Hove Albion.

He has played in all three of Seagull’s Premier League games so far this season, being named in the starting lineup for the match against Manchester United at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton are looking to ensure that the Red Devils’ disappointing start to the season continues after they were beaten by Crystal Palace last week.

And Lallana’s performance in the first half of the game caught the eyes of delighted Liverpool fans before he was substituted in the 75th minute.

Brighton did take the lead against Manchester United, with Neal Maupay making no mistake from the spot after the Seagulls were awarded a penalty kick.

However, a Lewis Dunk own goal drew the Red Devils level before half-time.

Marcus Rashford then made it 2-1 shortly after the restart before the latest of drama at the AMEX Stadium as Solly March equalised deep into stoppage-time only for Bruno Fernandes to win it with an even later penalty.

Lallana will have another chance to get one over on Manchester United in a replay of the game when the two teams meet again in the League Cup fourth round on Wednesday evening.
