Liverpool fans ignore James Milner request as midfielder shares 'wild Saturday night' post

Liverpool midfielder James Milner asked for suggestions on a good duo on Saturday as he watched the Masters Golf unfold while drinking a cup of tea - and Reds fans were quick to come back with some witty suggestions.

"Saturday evening with The Masters and a brew. Name a better combo," Milner posted on Instagram.

The caption also had the hashtag 'dontdaresaytrentandrobbo'. But the comments section was flooded with that exact suggestion, as well as a few other Liverpool-based ideas.

Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez and Milner and Jordan Henderson were among the more popular suggestions, while one person comically said 'Liverpool and injuries'.

Robertson's Scotland take on Slovakia away from home in the UEFA Nations League this afternoon.

The left-back captained the side to Euro 2020 qualification (which takes place next summer) on Thursday night as they beat Serbia on penalties.

That was the first major tournament that Scotland had progressed to since 1998, when they made the World Cup and were knocked out in the group stage.

After making the European Championships, Robertson told Sky Sports: "It just shows you the strengths we've got.

"A lot of people would have crumbled and lost in extra-time but we've stuck together throughout the whole process and now we've got the night we deserve.

"I can't wait for the summer now. This is the most emotional I've ever been after the game. I'm so proud of all of them.

"We felt the love from back home all the way over here tonight, we knew how it could give everyone back home a lift.

"I hope everyone parties at home tonight because we've been through tough times as footballers and football fans for Scotland.

"It will be 23 years when we get there but we've done it now."
