Liverpool fans have hijacked a tweet sent out by Barcelona to remind the Catalan giants of their Champions League semi-final defeat.
Barcelona arrived at Anfield 3-0 up in May after a devastating Lionel Messi performance in the first leg of the semi, only to collapse amid the atmosphere on Merseyside as Liverpool triumphed 4-0 to progress to the final in Madrid.
Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum both scored twice as Liverpool progressed and Jurgen Klopp's side made it count when they won their sixth European Cup with a 2-0 victory over Tottenham on June 1 .
Barcelona tweeted 'Best caption wins' with a picture of midfielder Sergio Busquets and defender Jordi Alba on a club flight - and the response was as predictable as it was hilarious.

The most common response from Liverpool fans was "Corner taken quickly...ORIGI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Another read: "We score, Liverpool need FIVE - and we're going to get at least one... agreed?"
"Don't worry, he's leaving it for Shaqiri," was another funny response.
The defeat is clearly still fresh in the minds of Barcelona fans, with many tweeting their anger towards manager Ernesto Valverde.
