Liverpool fans give their verdict on new 2019/20 away kit following launch

Liverpool's new away kit for the 2019/20 season was unveiled by New Balance on Friday morning.

The club's official store temporarily crashed as fans flocked to the purchase the kit which went on sale at 9am.

Supporters have reacted positively to the kit which is a white jersey complimented by navy shorts and white socks with a red colourway.

The 96 emblem remains on the back of the shirt encased by the eternal flames.

Bob Paisley's signature also appears on the inside of the collar to mark the three-time European cup winning manager's 100th year.

Fans love the new design from the Boston-based sports brand.

The navy shorts in particular are proving a popular touch as well as the all-white training gear.

One fan responded with a picture of Sadio Mane writing the letter W for win and wrote: "I approve."

While another supporter said: "Keeping it simple and I love it so much."

More Liverpool fans reacted to unveiling, as one replied: "Very classy."

Fans also noticed the omission of James Milner from the modelling shoot.

As the midfielder usually makes a comical joke about missing out.

New Balance have now entered the final year of their contract as Liverpool's kit manufacturer.

Liverpool's third strip could be set to be released later this summer, with previous reveals having come on the club's tours.
