The Paris Saint-Germain superstar is one of the hottest prospects in world football, and in recent months has been repeatedly linked with a move to Anfield.
And eagle-eyed fans have spotted some interesting Instagram activity involving Egypt international Mohamed Salah which they think hints at a potential transfer.
After slotting home the all-important winner for Liverpool against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Salah took to the popular app to share a photo of himself and captain Jordan Henderson.

Two other images from the 2-1 victory also appeared in the post which was teamed with a simple red button emoji as caption.
Mbappe was one of several footballers to like Salah's picture - which also received love from team-mates Roberto Firmino, Andy Robertson, Fabinho, Divock Origi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Fans quickly noticed the subtle interaction and a screenshot shared to Reddit quipped: "#Mbappe2020. He is flirting back with us."
Another comment on the thread read: "It's already confirmed." With one supporter writing: "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!"
