Liverpool fans fuming after Andy Robertson snub at FIFA Football Awards

Two Liverpool stars have been named in the Fifapro World XI after winning the Champions League last season.

The team has been revealed at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Milan and is made up of a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfield players and three forwards.

Alisson and Virgil Van Dijk have both been selected in the team that was chosen by more than 23,000 professional players around the world based on performances between July 2018 and July 2019.

It was a successful night for Liverpool with Alisson named as the best goalkeeper by FIFA as he saw off competition from Man City's Ederson for the award.

While Jurgen Klopp was named Best FIFA Men's Coach of the year as he won ahead of Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino.

However Reds fans were unhappy with the Men's World XI selection with Andy Robertson missing out to Real Madrid defender Marcelo despite a sparkling season at Anfield.
