Liverpool fans fume over Mike Dean decisions as Man City top Premier League

Some Liverpool fans are furious with referee Mike Dean after his decisions in Manchester City's 1-0 win over Leicester City which handed the reigning champions a one-point lead over the Reds heading into the final day of the Premier League season.

Man City were tamed for the most part by Leicester but Pep Guardiola's men managed to edge home in the second half thanks to Vincent Kompany's wonder strike.

But Liverpool fans feel that the centre-back should have been sent off in the first half for taking down James Maddison, with the defender only landing a yellow card before scoring the long-distance winner in the second period.

Meanwhile, Liverpool supporters were also frustrated with Wirral-born Mike Dean's decision to not send off David Silva in the match.

City could have been down to ten men as Silva went close on two occasions to earning a yellow card.
