Liverpool fans excited as duo pictured in training ahead of Fulham

Liverpool have Alisson Becker and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fit again ahead of their Premier League game against Fulham on Sunday and supporters are pleased to see them back.

Alisson trained with the team on Friday after missing Liverpool’s last three matches with a hamstring injury, while Oxlade-Chamberlain was involved in a session for the first time this season following a knee problem sustained during pre-season.

Their returns are timely for manager Jurgen Klopp, who has been forced to deal with a series of injuries in recent weeks.

Caoimhin Kelleher has impressed in goal in Alisson’s absence, keeping clean sheets against Ajax and Wolverhampton Wanderers before the 1-1 draw against Midtjylland in midweek.

Despite the 22-year-old’s performances, Alisson could come straight back into the team for the trip to Craven Cottage on Sunday.

“Ali will train and if he trains and all fine, then he can play,” Klopp said in his press conference on Friday.

Liverpool fans were delighted to see pictures of Alisson back in training, but Kelleher’s performances, playing ahead of the more experienced Adrian, have left some with mixed feelings.

“This is why Alisson is the greatest gk of all time,” said @parkthebus8989.

“Clean sheet against Kane and Son incoming,” said @JAMESFF, referring to Wednesday’s top of the table clash against Tottenham.

“That's great, I want to see Alisson back but I'm torn as I also want to see more of Kelleher,” said @tonka9754.

The reaction to Oxlade-Chamberlain’s return was more straightforward, with excitement the prevailing feeling.

“So glad to see Chambo back! Love this guy and his attitude! Can’t wait to see him on the pitch!!” said @A_n_d_i__

“Good to see him back,” @goldenconceptng.

“Can't wait to see his rocket shots again,” tweeted @azure96977.

“I’d love it more if mr alcantara was back,” said @lfcsed_.

“Welcome back and stay fit!” said @Akinbolamoses2.
