Lionel Messi has been speaking about the future of Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe and hints he could still play in England.
The 22-year-old looked set to depart the Parc des Princes in the summer, but a move to Real Madrid failed to materialise.
Mbappe's contract expires in the summer, but he can begin pre-contract discussions with clubs outside of France from January 1.
While a move to the La Liga giants remains likely, Messi's recent comments on Mbappe's future appear to suggest Spain isn't the only potential destination for the young star.

He said in an interview with Spanish news outlet MARCA : "The truth is I do not know.
"Only he knows what he has in his head and what he is going to do. I can only say that I am happy that he has stayed here this year.
"He is a very important player for us and to fight for the objectives we have. He is fully focused on our goals.
"And then he will decide what he will do when the season is over. The truth is that I don't know what will happen.
"But he speaks very well in everything: Spanish, English, obviously French."
Liverpool have been tentatively linked to the Frenchman for some time and rumours continue to circulate as he nears the end of his contract at PSG.
However, comments from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez last month revealed that they are hopeful of getting a deal done in the upcoming transfer window.
He told El Debate when asked for an update on the their pursuit of Mbappe in October: "We hope that on January 1 everything can be solved."
