Liverpool fans divided as Fiorentina close on Bobby Duncan transfer

Bobby Duncan is set to complete his move to Fiorentina on European transfer deadline day.

Liverpool have agreed to sell the 18-year-old after the Italian club made a offer of €2million (£1.8m) plus included a 20% sell-on clause.

His departure comes just days after an extraordinary social media storm involving a series of astonishing claims about Liverpool by his agent Saif Rubie on Twitter .

Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards has now found a a reasonable solution for Duncan while not acting to seek punishment in any way.

The deadline for Italian sides to make transfers is at 7pm on Monday, September with the deal expected to be done in the coming hours.

Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news on social media with some disappointed to see the young talent leaving the club while others think that Edwards and the Reds have done the best deal possible.
