The Manchester United left-back was the provider for two of England's goals as they romped to a 4-0 win over Ukraine at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome to book their place in the Euro 2020 semi-finals.
Shaw assisted both Harry Kane's second and Harry Maguire's header as Gareth Southgate's side raced out the blocks for the second half of the last eight clash.
Robertson also featured at the tournament but Scotland bowed out in the group stage after the 27-year-old became the first Scottish captain to lead the nation out at a major tournament in 23 years.
Shaw returned to the England set-up after a three-year absence after his impressive displays for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as they finished second behind runaway champions Manchester City.
There can be no doubting Shaw's quality after an impressive season but Liverpool fans believe claims that he is now the best left-back on the planet as premature.
