Liverpool fans dazzled by what Mohamed Salah did during Egypt's win over Guinea

There is no rest for Mohamed Salah this summer, as the Liverpool star aims to follow his Champions League glory by guiding Egypt to success in the African Cup of Nations.

Hosted in Egypt, Salah and his teammates kick start the tournament into action on Friday when they face Zimbabwe and will enter the match in good spirits following a 3-1 victory over Guinea in a warm-up game.

Salah came off the bench to compete and, while he did not manage to get on the scoresheet, wore the captain's armband for his nation for the very first time.

While he didn't find the back of the net, he still managed to dazzle the supporters with a superb piece of skill in the second half that stole the show.

Running down the wing to latch onto a through ball, Salah tapped the ball past Guinea keeper Aly Keita after he charged to the edge of his box to meet the Liverpool ace but could not quell the attack, as the Champions League winner sent him to ground with his skill.

Keita did manage to put Salah off slightly before getting back on his feet and attempting to smother the ball by jumping on it - but he was again thwarted by some sublime skill.

Salah was too quick for him and dragged the ball back, leaving Keita in a heap on the ground once again, before striking an effort at goal that bounced back off the post - with Omar Gaber there to tap home the rebound.

Fans watching on were left stunned by the superb piece of skill and some took to social media to share their thoughts on what they had witnessed.
