Tens of thousands of Liverpool fans packed host city Madrid - but not all of them had tickets to the match.
So what did they do?
Well One group of LIverpool fans celebrated the in an unusual way - by helping out with the clean-up operation in the Spanish capital.
David Lloyd, 30, from Dingle in the city, was one of a group of 18 who travelled - despite only five of them having a ticket for the final at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
After following the match in bars in the city, the gang were waiting for their train to Malaga in the early hours of this morning to begin their journey home.
It was then they noticed Spanish street cleaners at work and pitched in to help out.
David's dad, who is also called David, said: "We didn't have anywhere to stay while we were over there in Madrid.
"There were some fellas brushing up the square at five in the morning so some of us started helping them by throwing plastic bottles in the bins.
"The Spanish street cleaners gave David a brush.
"They were standing there having a laugh because he was doing their job. It was all good humoured.
"David's grandad was a street cleaner himself so that might have had something to do with it!"
