Liverpool fans bring back favourite chant after 30 year wait

Liverpool fans waited 30 long years to welcome their team onto the Anfield pitch like this.

And the 2,000 lucky supporters who returned to watch Liverpool play at home to Wolves on Sunday evening made sure it was heard loud and clear.

Indeed, "bring on the champions," rang around Anfield 10 minutes before Jurgen Klopp's men took to the pitch against Wolves for the first time Jordan Henderson lifted the trophy back in July.

The chant grew louder as anticipation for the entrance of the Premier League champions built.

The Reds ended their 30-year wait for the title last season and Klopp's side will hope to go back level with Tottenham at the top of the Premier League with a victory.

Klopp made one change to his team for the game, bringing in Roberto Firmino for former Wolves forward Diogo Jota.
