Liverpool fans all use one word to describe Champions League loss to Barcelona

Liverpool were hit with a hammer blow in the second half at the Camp Nou as Barcelona took control of the Champions League semi-final tie with two Lionel Messi goals.

This has left Liverpool fans all sharing the same emotion when it comes to their respective verdicts on the game in Spain.

It was one of those matches when the flow of the game and the chances created don't end up reflecting in the scoreline.

Live updates from Barcelona vs Liverpool in the Champions League

Luis Suarez netted in the first half after a lovely through ball by Jordi Alba, while the former Liverpool forward hit the bar in the second half before Messi's tap in.

That moment led to Liverpool fans claiming their side had been very 'unlucky' to be 2-0 down, with Messi adding his second of the night thanks to a wonderful free-kick.

But Liverpool had a chance to pull one back as Roberto Firmino had a shot cleared off the line and Mohamed Salah hit the post with his right foot. It's safe to say the events in Barcelona left Liverpool fans offering the same one-word verdict.
