Klopp will now be in charge at Anfield until 2024, having initially been appointed as Liverpool manager on October 8, 2015.
In the four years since his appointment, the German has restored Liverpool back to Europe’s elite, as well as helping the club claim their sixth European Cup in June.

Klopp's side are also on course to end their 30-year wait for a league title. The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League table and are eight points clear of second place Leicester City.
