Liverpool fans all say the same thing after Manchester United and Arsenal draw

Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Arsenal wasn't exactly a classic.

Scott McTominay's goal just before half time made for a slightly more interesting second half with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalising in the 58th minute.

But the main thing fans seemed to take away from the game was the evidence that both teams are so far behind the Premier League's top two.

Liverpool have 21 points after seven games, the same total as United and Arsenal combined, and Jurgen Klopp 's men also have double the amount of goals as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

The result took Arsenal up to fourth while United moved into the top 10, but many believe the Premier League trophy is a two horse race between Liverpool and Manchester City.

Former Reds defender Jamie Carragher gave his verdict on Sky Sports after the game.

He said: "Arsenal and Manchester United were eighth and 11th in the Premier League before the game.

"They looked like the eighth and 11th best teams in the league too."

It seems fans of Liverpool and other clubs agreed with him, sharing their thoughts on the standard of the game and their hopes of competing with Klopp and Guardiola's teams this season:

Liverpool take on Salzburg in the Champions League tomorrow night, before Leicester City come to Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.

It will be a reunion with former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers who has his new club in fine form.

Leicester are currently third in the league and have only conceded five goals in seven matches, the exact same as Liverpool.
