Liverpool fans all say the same thing after Luis Suarez's hilarious penalty claim in Copa America

It has been five years since former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez infamously bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during the 2014 World Cup.

And the striker, who received a four-month ban for the incident, has once again demonstrated the lengths he will go to in the pursuit of victory.

During Uruguay's Copa America win over Chile, the Barcelona forward bizarrely claimed the goalkeeper had handled the ball inside his own area.

In an attempt to break the deadlock Suarez had his near-post shot saved by the Chilean No.1, Gabriel Arias.

Instinct took over the Uruguayan, who raised his arm dramatically in the air appealing for a penalty as his strike bundled out for a corner.

Liverpool were on the receiving end of a determined Suarez during their Champions League semi-final showdown last month.

And fans have reacted to his latest stunt, one wrote: "That's the level of the man now, desperate to win anything."

There was also another incident during Uruguay's 1-0 triumph when Suarez seemingly called for a Chile player to be booked after he tackled an onrushing pitch invader.

Uruguay will now face Peru in the Copa America quarter-finals stage on Saturday.
