Tottenham announced on Tuesday that they had parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino, following a woeful start to the season which left the defeated Champions League finalists 11 points adrift of the top-four after just 12 matches.
Pochettino's fine work in North London saw him craft the Lilywhites from top-four hopefuls to a household name in the Champions League, with the highlight being steering Spurs to last season's final in Madrid.
The rest, as they say, is history as Liverpool stormed to lift Europe's biggest prize for a sixth time and it has all been downhill for Pochettino since then.
Following Pochettino's exit from Spurs, Liverpool fans have smelt an opportunity to raid the North London side as many took to Twitter immediately after the news broke to urge the club to swoop for Son Heung-Min's services.
The South Korean international has been in superb form this season, netting eight goals in 14 games so far this term - including five in four Champions League matches.
