A die-hard Liverpool fan will finally be able to cut his hair after 17 years, vowing to keep growing it until his side won the title.
Uke Krasniqi from Kosovo, now living in Vancouver made the promise to keep his curly locks six years ago until his beloved Reds ended their Premier League voodoo - as you can see in the video above.
Liverpool ended a 30-year wait for their 19th title on Thursday night as Manchester City's defeat to Chelsea confirmed the Reds as Premier League champions - their first title of the Premier League era.
His promise came in 2014 after Steven Gerrard's infamous slip against Chelsea handed Manchester City the title despite having topped the table for the majority of the season.
Speaking of his heartbreak in 2014 he said: "We were so close under Jurgen Klopp, the team was doing so well.
"But then again Man City, credit to them, are such a fantastic team with a great manager as well so it was so difficult to win any title with them being involved and with the fire power they have."
But now, six years later the Reds have finally done it and Uke will be more relieved than most after remaining "committed to the promise."
The 37-year-old spoke ahead of Liverpool's triumph being confirmed on Thursday night.
"I can remember the Champions Leagues, FA Cups and all those trophies but not the Premier League," he said.
"But this year, even with the pandemic, finally we are going to win it.
"I've been waiting for this moment and I even said it, as long as it takes and I had a few disappointing moments but it seems I'm finally there.
The educational assistant has said his wife Diana will be doing the honours now that Liverpool have been crowned champions.
