Liverpool fan missing in Madrid after the Champions League final

A British Liverpool fan has gone missing in Madrid after last night's Champions League final.

Macauley Negus, drove to Madrid with his dad, to soak up the atmosphere in the fan zone.

The 23-year-old was due to drive back home today but Macauley has not been seen since the after-match celebrations, reports Plymouth Live .

Macauley, who is from Plymouth, was last seen in the Goya area of Madrid at around 10.30pm and his family have put out an urgent appeal.

A post on Instagram by Macauley's sister reads: "MISSING IN MADRID!!" Macauley Negus last seen Saturday June 1 in Madrid. If you have any information please contact me."

His brother, Ashley Negus, said: "Just to put everyone in the picture, I flew out this morning to meet my dad we have contacted the hospitals and police and have walked 30 miles today just looking for him!!

"Please just keep sharing there’s 2000 people talking about him on twitter, let’s keep that going thanks for all your well wishes."
