Nike kit 'disappointment' as Liverpool face £75m Manchester United challenge
The ECHO's Paul Gorst has examined the relationship between Liverpool and kit supplier Nike as football continues to deal with coronavirus.
The current ‘pale ivory’ shirt is the most popular away kit since the partnership began but Liverpool are perhaps not being pushed as strongly across the world as some of Nike's other big clients.

Others have spoken about distribution problems on home soil, with training gear, in particular, said to be difficult to obtain for the city centre stores.
In the United States, though, Liverpool continue to grow, it is said.
The challenging nature of business and brand growth in the middle of a worldwide pandemic means Liverpool will be made to wait a bit longer than hoped to discover the true power of an association with Nike.

Liverpool have shared behind the scenes footage of when the squad lined up for their team photograph for the 2021/22 season.
The team spirit was on full display, with Kostas Tsimikas' 'Greek Scouser' nickname, the good-natured banter between centre-backs Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip and the support for youngster Harvey Elliott.
The 18-year-old was last out for the photo and appeared on crutches as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
Once all the photos had been taken, the camera cut to the heart-warming scene of Thiago giving Elliott a lift back to the dressing room on a buggy.
