Liverpool face £32m transfer poser over duo, Sheffield United's record-breaking deal for Swansea City star as Newcastle United keeper heads to Wales - Premier League reports

The latest Premier league transfer rumours

McBurnie deal on the brink

Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie is on the brink of joining Sheffield United in a record-breaking deal.

Swans head coach Steve Cooper confirmed that a transfer is close.

: "It’s a deal that’s been done by the club and first of all we have to wish him well. He’s a fantastic person and a really good player.

"He's now got an opportunity to ply his trade in the Premier League so we’re all very proud of him. We'd have loved it to be with Swansea City, but at the same time, you have to wish him all the best which we all have done.

"But I'm just focused on looking forward because the moment we stand still, we lose ambition and motivation. That isn't going to be us this year and that isn't the feeling in the group or the club.

"I really believe in what we’re doing here and that hasn’t changed with the news of the last few days."

Liverpool's 'poser' over Wilson

Liverpool face a real transfer poser over the future of Wales star Harry Wilson.

The Liverpool Echo report that the 22-year-old is approaching deadline day in all senses of the phrase at Anfield.

Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Leeds have all been linked with his services. He is rated at £25million

Meanwhile, Ryan Kent wants to leave Liverpool but the 22-year-old is being priced out of a move away from Anfield.

That’s according to Sky Sports, who state that the Reds will not allow him to depart on loan.

Kent was eager to return to Rangers, where he starred last season, but the Scottish side cannot afford the player’s £7m valuation.

Lukaku transfer twist

Romelu Lukaku had been widely expected to leave Manchester United and make a move to Serie A this summer.

Inter Milan were first interested before United’s demands appeared to be too much for the Italians.

Juventus have since shown their interest in the Belgium international and a swap deal with Paulo Dybala has been talked up.

However, with Dybala stalling on a potential move to United, it’s now said that Lukaku is still wanted by Inter.

The MEN says that the Italian giants have not given up on signing Lukaku, while the Red Devils admit it’s still possible that the forward remains in Manchester.

Maguire to United latest

Manchester United have made a last-ditch bid for Harry Maguire.

The Foxes want £90m for the England centre-back but the highest official bid to date has been £70m.

Sky Sports, however, suggest that United have offered an improved bid of £80m.

Koscielny future hint

Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to see Laurent Koscielny stay despite reports of him leaving the club.

Koscielny sat out pre-season as he aims to find a new club amid talk of him departing for Bordeaux.

However, Emery is eager to retain the 33-year-old centre-back ahead of the new season.

Spurs close to £55m deal

Tottenham are on the verge of landing Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis, according to talkSPORT.

Spurs paid £54m for Tanguy Ndombele last month but they are expected to beat that club record in the coming days.

It’s believed that Mauricio Pochettino’s men will complete a £55m deal for the 23-year-old.
