Here are your Liverpool evening headlines for Saturday, February 27.
Klopp leaves fans in stitches
Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool fans in stitches with his appearance in a Snickers advert.
The Reds boss, who has endeared himself to Merseysiders with his energetic personality and infectious character, is seen shouting at his wooden players while playing table football.
Klopp expressed his disdain for the 3-5-2 formation, before eating a Snickers chocolate bar and turning into a normal person.
One fan replied to a video of the advert: "This is soooo funny! I love him even more after this."
Another added: "Absolute legend," while several fans loved Klopp's energy.
"That move has me dying," Thomas Stirk said. "That's classic," Sarah Perry added.
Varane, Mbappe send transfer reminder
Raphael Varane and Kylian Mbappe have sent Liverpool a transfer reminder as they both near the final year of their respective contracts.
The French World Cup winners' contracts expire in 2022. Neither have seemed willing to sign extensions with their respective clubs, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, and they could be available in a permanent transfer in the summer.
And as Theo Squires writes for the ECHO, it might be time for FSG to commit to substantial financial investment in the team.
Liverpool had to get creative in the summer to sign Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota, and while Klopp says that the team does not need a full rebuild, to challenge Manchester City, more superstar investment is required.
It was until Virgil van Dijk arrived that Liverpool made the Champions League final. It wasn't until Alisson arrived six months later that the team won a trophy.
Liverpool need to once again spend again, and Mbappe and Varane could be ideal targets.
