Liverpool ECHO launches new 8-page nostalgia section to share and celebrate readers' memories

A giant spider sleeping on the side of a building, a parade of Tall Ships sailing down the Mersey, lost pubs, mysteries that have never been solved. . . there are so many rich stories of Liverpool's past.

To share and celebrate your memories of life in Merseyside, the ECHO is launching a new weekly nostalgia section.

It will appear in the ECHO every Wednesday over the summer, packed with photos and stories about the events, people and places we remember fondly and wish we could return to.

Also available is our Memory Lane supplement, featuring 64 pages of evocative photographs of the way we used to live in Liverpool, Wirral and beyond - from commuters reading newspapers on the Mersey Ferry to the crowds enjoying the sunshine at New Brighton. You can find it in our online shop.
