Liverpool double team news hint emerges after Kostas Tsimikas post before Porto

Fabinho and Kostas Tsimikas could be in line to feature in Liverpool's Champions League clash with Porto this evening.

Jurgen Klopp is likely to rest a number of first-team players having already secured progression to the next stage of the competition, presenting potential opportunities to the likes of Neco Williams and Tyler Morton.

The Reds have won all four of their European group stage games so far and are under no pressure to claim a result again their Portuguese opponents. This could therefore lead to number of players being rested for tonight's fixture as Klopp prepares for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Southampton.

Two individuals who may have hinted they will be featuring from the off at Anfield, though, are Fabinho and Kostas Tsimikas.

The Reds' duo have both posted a pre-match graphic on Instagram ahead of Porto's arrival, something often done by players who are aware they will be taking part in an upcoming fixture.

Fabinho and Tsimikas both started in Liverpool's 4-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday and would be surprise starters if selected by Klopp as the club looks to avoid adding to its mounting injury list of late.

Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Joe Gomez, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino remain sidelined due to injury.

Speaking ahead of tonight's contest, Klopp said: "Whatever line-up the the team is tomorrow, it's only about winning the next game and then the next game then the next, that is why we are here.

"We know that our opponent will be motivated on the highest level for two main reasons.

"One is we won in a way they didn't like for sure and the other is they win the game tomorrow night, they have a final in the the last game against Atletico. That is what they want."
