Liverpool DJ will 'keep sounds moving from above' after tragic death

Hundreds of people have paid tribute to a popular DJ who died suddenly.

Messages of condolences and tributes have been sent in memory of Frank Moran, who died on Wednesday, October 5. People described the DJ as "talented", "the funniest", and "lovely".

The Liverpool DJ known as Talk2Frank, from Garston, has been described as "the life and soul of every party." Hundreds of people have paid tribute to Frank on the ECHO's Facebook page following the news of his death.

Writing on the ECHO' s Facebook page Lynette Burgess said: "RIP Frank thinking of all the family Such a tragic loss." David Bather added: "Thinking of all the family at this time. Forever young Frank!"

Jo Sweeney also said: "R.I.P Frank our thoughts and prayers are with Frank's family and friends. Rest Easy Frank. Keep them sounds moving lad from up above." Angie Draboczi added: "R.I.P. Frank, light up the sky with that smile, absolutely devastated for all your family."

Clubs and bars have released tributes to Frank, in his 20s, with city centre venue Lost Lounge sharing a statement alongside videos of him playing DJ sets. The post said: "Today we lost one of our own. Talk2Frank sadly passed away today.

"Only Frank could empty the upstairs like he did and bring the party downstairs! Didn’t matter that there was a couple of big hitters fresh from Creamfields, they couldn’t come anywhere near you Frank.

"Top came off for the end of the set and no one wanted to go home. You had only just started , gone far too soon mate."

Frank was due to headline an event, called Peace Patrol, at Lost Lounge next week on Saturday, October 15. The organiser confirmed that the event will go ahead as a memorial with funds raised going to Frank's family. Peace Patrol said: "We received the devastating and heartbreaking news this morning about the passing of our Headline DJ.

"For everyone that knew Frank, they knew he was always the life and soul of every party and was always up for a good time. Frank was due to play for us next Saturday for the launch of our event Peace Patrol at Lost Lounge, We are absolutely devastated he is no longer here with us to not be able to.

"Our event will now purely be a night remembering Frank, And every single penny we raise will now go to his family. So to any of his friends who would like to come down to Lost lounge, next Saturday from 8pm-3am to celebrate Talk2Frank you’re more than welcome let’s have it off for him.

"We are absolutely devastated right now and we send all our strength and love to Frank's family in this heart breaking time."
