A Liverpool designer who has previously worked with the Spice Girls is giving away his entire wardrobe in the hope of helping struggling families this Christmas.
Ben Mak, from Walton, has decided to give back after realising how much it could help others this Christmas. His giveaway, which is free, includes everything from designer goods to vintage classics, T-shirts, coats, jackets, trainers and suits.
Items are a mix of new, pre-owned items also includes laptops and phones too.
On why he decided to launch his giveaway, Ben told the ECHO : "It started with my interns saying 'I can't afford to expand my digital design I don't have the equipment' I was saddened by their reaction and near defeat, I dug around my flat and found one I hadn't used for a while and gave it to them.
"Young students creatively driven and capable need support. I realised 'what else can I give', a small act made a big difference to someone's life.
"Inspired, I dug up old accessories raided the wardrobe, slightly emotional with funny and lovely memories attached, Mum was sad to see my My 1st ever Hugo Boss suit worn once at The Vivienne's Wedding. Ironically lockdown has enabled me to diversify, upgrade and develop my other enterprises which has already helping transformed lives."
Ben is hoping his giveaway will help some people have a better end to an unprecedented year.
Ben's work has been seen on television programmes such as Ru Paul's Drag Race, X Factor and the National Television Awards.
