Liverpool defender Joe Gomez admits to the three Premier League strikers who are a nightmare to face

Liverpool and England defender Joe Gomez has revealed his most difficult Premier League opponent.

The 22-year-old was invited to lead an Ultimate PE lesson with the winners of a special Premier League Primary Stars competition.

In partnership with EA Sports, Gomez led three lucky youngsters through a PE lesson while wearing the same motion capture technology used to create popular video game FIFA.

Following the lesson Gomez was asked a series of questions by the children who took part.

One question read: "Who is the best and toughest player you've played against?"

To which Gomez easily answered: "Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all of them, it is difficult to play against them everyday. You get embarrassed a little bit sometimes."

Later in the clip the centre-half revealed what job he would have liked to have done if he wasn't a professional footballer.

"PE was my favourite lesson at school and if I wasn’t a footballer I would have liked to be a PE teacher, so to be involved in the programme is great," Gomez told.

Liverpool begin their pre-season preparations on July 6, but Gomez will return to Melwood later after taking part in the Nations League finals with England.
