Liverpool youngster Rhys Williams has signed a new long-term contract with the Reds.
The teenager, who plays at centre-half, penned fresh terms with the club on Tuesday following on from the professional contract he signed in 2019.
This fresh deal follows a successful loan spell with National League North outfit Kidderminster Harriers last term where he featured 26 times.
The Harriers' now-manager, Russell Penn, was the club's assistant boss at the time Williams arrived in Kidderminster.
He was quickly impressed by the young defender as he told the ECHO in May: "He came in, looking the part, and you're thinking oh my God, he's Virgil van Dijk in disguise!
"He's baby-faced, talks like a baby and everything, but I tell you what. He dived straight into it, rented a house with four other lads and was a really big part of the club straight away.
"He played every game. He struggled the first month and made three mistakes that cost us three goals but he held his hands up for all of them and I think that was the making of him."
The talented 19-year-old, who first joined the club as an Under-10, has also represented England's Under-18s.
Williams was part of the U18s side who defeated Manchester City in the FA Youth Cup last year before making the step up to the Under-23s.
The youngster is now expected to play a key role for Barry Lewtas's side for the upcoming campaign.
Reacting to his new deal Williams shared a message to social media.
He wrote to Twitter: "Absolutely buzzing to sign a new contract with @LFC, another proud moment for me and my family."
