Liverpool defender Andy Robertson hilariously outlines special role he played in Barcelona comeback

Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has been discussing the key role he played during Liverpool's Champions League semi-final comeback.

The Scotsman was substituted at half-time by Jurgen Klopp following the knock he picked up during a first half tussle with Luis Suarez.

Gini Wijnaldum was then called to the fore as Liverpool, who led 1-0 going into the break, went in search of two more goals which would have levelled the tie on aggregate.

In a comical video released by the club on YouTube, Robertson has sounded out the important role he played on the Reds most famous night at Anfield.

The left-back appeared in the eight-minute clip alongside team-mate James Milner during the Reds' pre-season tour of America.

In the 'Everyday Dilemmas' video the pair are asked a series of questions sent in by fans.

They hilariously debate whether pineapple should be on pizza, meal deals and what comes first the chicken or the egg?

One supporter had a special Champions League question for the duo, the fan asked: "How can I stop watching the highlights for Liverpool vs Barcelona at Anfield?"

Robertson was quick to answer as the Scotland international replied: "Don't stop Callum. If you watch that once a day you'll be in a good mood for the rest of your life."

Milner interjected: "There are worse things to be watching aren't there?"

Robertson then reflected: "What a comeback. Divock Origi, what a man. Gini Wijnaldum."

The 26-year-old briefly paused before he jokingly exclaimed: "Robbo! Took himself out of the game, Gini Wijnaldum on you go and get us to the final and we'll do the rest.

"Love it. 'Gaffer get me off I'm not gonna win you it am I? Gini will go on and win you it!' There you go."

After replacing the No.26, Wijnaldum scored two quickfire goals to stun Barcelona before Divock Origi's strike sealed an historic 4-0 win and a place in the Madrid final.

"Keep watching it Callum that's what I would say," Robertson concluded.
