Currys PC World will trial a new drive-thru scheme ahead of the re-opening of non-essential stores across the UK on June 15.
The newsl is a likely attempt to alleviate potential queues that have been seen across everywhere from IKEA to local recycling centres and will allow customers to order online and pick up in store.
The electronics specialist says it is opening some stores across the country with strict instructions to keep staff and customers safe. The scheme has opened on Currys PC World in Aintree and will be rolled out to other Merseyside stores in future.

Similar information is also available for 'walk up' orders where customers are asked to wait outside the store while maintaining a 2m distance from colleagues and other customers.
The full list of safety information is:
1) Order online and select click and collect
2) Following confirmation, drive to your local Currys PC World store and park up in one of their designated collection bays
3) Once you have parked, click the link in your 'ready to collect email'
4) Get out and open up the boot of your car
5) Get back inside your car and wait for one of their staff to safely deliver your item(s)
While the above is a handy way to get your hands on products quicker, Currys PC World still provide free delivery between 4-5 days on items.
Next day delivery, meanwhile, starts from £5. Specifying between a morning or evening slot costs £10.
