Liverpool is currently leading the way in the nationwide competition to find the UK’s Favourite Place.
Of course, we think our amazing city is the best in the world, never mind the UK, and we’d like everyone to vote to prove it.
From our stunning architecture to our fascinating history, our famous musicians to the warmth of local people - Liverpool is an incredible place to be able to say you’re from.
The poll, run by our sister staycations recommendations site 2Chill , aims to discover the most cherished place in Britain, whether that’s a cosy small town, an exciting big city or an entire county.
To make it more exciting, the bottom 10 places on the leaderboard are eliminated every Friday.
This morning those axed were: Staffordshire, Bath, Essex, Lancashire, Surrey, Southend, Sunderland, Kent, Hove and Berkshire.
Even though Liverpool is currently in number 1 place, it all could change, so make sure you vote .
We need to ensure we stay ahead of Newcastle, Wales, Manchester and Barrow, who are on our heels in the leaderboard.
And if you’ve already shown your support, there’s good news - starting from today, everyone gets a second chance to vote.
