A Liverpool couple has gone viral with hilarious pranks during the coronavirus lockdown.
Numerous videos recorded by Anna Mary, 27, tricking her fiance Matthew Greenough, 30, have been viewed more than 500,000 times.
The couple, from Bootle, said they have always done pranks on each other, but since the lockdown Anna decided to share Matthew’s reaction on social media.
Speaking to the ECHO, Anna said: “I've been doing it for years , there's one from years ago where I put his number on Gumtree saying he was selling a pug. And everyone seemed to love it.
“It’s genuinely just his reaction, I always say if he didn't react so funny I wouldn't do it.”
Talking about the current situation, Anna added: “Its a bit scary isn't it, we are missing family and that but I’m made up I'm locked with him. I don’t know if he’ll feel the same now like.
“I just think its boss because I [usually just] show me mates and they laugh their heads off but it’s the best feeling ever knowing I can make other people laugh when the world is going crap right now.”
Anna and Matthew have been on full lockdown together for 11 days now after being furloughed from work.
Matthew said: “She is at it all the time and I don't get a minute but it's funny.
“I have a laugh with her and I don't mind it, I fall for it every single time. I should know by now what she's up to.
“I just want to be left alone for 10 minutes but it's just not the case.
“That's why I love her though she makes me laugh and she gets me through my day if it's grim and [like now] there's nothing going on.”
