Liverpool Council report reaction - tell us what you think

Liverpool Council has been severely criticised in a report into its working practices.

The report, written by independent inspectors, found severe shortcomings in the council - some of which cost the city millions of pounds.

Speaking in Parliament today, Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick said the report found 'multiple failures' and an 'environment of intimidation'.

He added the council consistently failed to comply with its statutory and managerial duties and that the 'pervasive culture appeared to be rule avoidance.'

Mr Jenrick also outlined a change to the council's election structure with all-out elections set for 2023.

But what was your reaction to the report today. Tell us what you think via our special reaction survey below.
