Liverpool Council is offering free central heating to hundreds of families

Five hundred families in Liverpool could be eligible to get new central heating fitted in their homes under a council scheme.

Liverpool Healthy Homes, a council agency, is offering the home improvements to help tackle fuel poverty and aid families trying to keep their homes warm through winter.

Under the scheme, families may be able to get a new A-rated boiler or be able to get new insulation installed to help improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
