Liverpool are in talks to play a summer friendly at Spurs' state of the art new stadium.
The Reds want a U.K. showpiece game to round off their pre-season schedule, with the English club due to play three exhibition games in the United States in July.
But they have hit problems with summer concerts slated for Anfield, and now must look for alternative venues for a game against Napoli at the end of that month.
They have played at Wembley and in Dublin in previous summers, but negotiations are underway to make use of Tottenham's brand new facilities for match around July 28, though nothing has yet been finalised.

Liverpool were due to be the first visitors to Tottenham's new stadium for their Premier League fixture back in September, but the clash was the first one switched to Wembley to kick-off various delays.
Take That and Bon Jovi are among the acts due to perform at Anfield this summer, after the club secured a licence to hold varying events there for the first time.
But the club also need to make changes to the stadium first, and they they will need to replay the pitch.

Liverpool's major events venue manager Claire Harkness gave more details to councillors on Tuesday.
Harkness, as reported by the Liverpool Echo , said: "We have looked to make sure that the building can cope with a different demographic.
"People at concerts move in a different way to people at matches."
