Four things spotted in training as Liverpool handed big injury boost
Jurgen Klopp was greeted with some good news as his Liverpool squad reported for training on Monday, following the 2-2 draw with Brighton.
The Reds were bolstered by the return of Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby, ahead of their home clash with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Thiago has been on the sidelines with a calf injury since Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace in September, while Fabinho has missed the Reds’ last three league games.
The fitness boost comes at a much-needed time for Klopp, with James Milner and Harvey Elliott injury and Naby Keita having suffered a hamstring problem against Brighton.

Dominic Solanke could still make Liverpool millions as Bournemouth final transfer fee confirmed
Former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has been on fire in front of goal for Bournemouth this season, scoring 12 in 16 appearances.
Having been prolific for the Cherries since playing in the Championship, the ECHO understands that the Reds have banked the full £24m negotiated for the forward, with all the add-on bonuses now fulfilled.
However, despite no promotion clause being included in the deal, Liverpool could still be in line for a windfall if his form continues.
It has been confirmed that the Reds still hold a significant sell-on clause, if Bournemouth were set to make a profit on the 24-year-old.
