Jurgen Klopp has named a strong Liverpool starting XI for the Reds opening pre-season friendly.
Liverpool take on Stuttgart in Austria this afternoon (kick off 5pm) just a week ahead of the Community Shield date with Arsenal at Wembley next Saturday.
The only other friendly match scheduled so far will be against RB Salzburg on Tuesday so with the Premier League season to begin three weeks today on 12 September, Klopp has named many of his Premier League title winners to face the newly-promoted Bundesliga side this afternoon.
It's expected most of the squad will get a run-out but there is no place on the substitutes bench for Divock Origi or Xherdan Shaqiri.
Alisson Becker starts in goal and, aside from youngster Neco Williams who is in a right back, it is the regular Liverpool back five with Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk at centre back and Andy Robertson at left back.
Fabinho and Naby Keita get the opportunity in midfield to continue their encouraging form from the closing weeks of last season and are joined with Liverpool-born youngster Curtis Jones.
Up front, the regular attacking three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all take their places in the starting line up.
New signing Kostas Tsimikas is among the substitutes and will be hoping for a first run out in a red shirt.
Loris Karius, Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi all miss out completely.
Starting XI: Alisson; Williams, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Keita, Jones; Salah, Firmino, Mane
Substitutes: Adrian, Hoever, Phillips, Van den Berg, Tsimikas, Wijnaldum, Milner, Grujic, Elliott, Minamino, Brewster, Kelleher, Koumetio
