Liverpool confirm return dates for key Champions League winning stars

Liverpool have confirmed that Alisson, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah will report for pre-season training on Monday.

After helping the Reds win the Champions League at the start of last month, the trio linked up with Brazil and Egypt respectively soon after for international duty.

Alisson and Firmino were both ever-presents for the Selecao as they won the Copa America as hosts, defeating Peru in the final with the goalkeeper winning the Golden Glove award after keeping five clean sheets and the forward registering two goals and three assists.

Meanwhile, Salah didn't miss a minute for Egypt as they suffered a round-of-16 exit as they hosted the Africa Cup of Nations, scoring goals in the group-stages against DR Congo and Uganda.

Granted extended time off following their international commitments, the trio have missed Liverpool's five pre-season fixtures so far this summer including their US Tour.

They'll also miss the Reds' trip to Murrayfield for Sunday's meeting with Napoli.

But they will be linking up with Jurgen Klopp's side as they head to Evian for the first day of their training camp.
