Liverpool confirm 21-man squad for Atletico Madrid match in Champions League

Liverpool have confirmed their travelling squad for the Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.

The Reds take on the Spanish side at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium tomorrow evening in an 8pm kick off.

And Jurgen Klopp has significant options at his disposal, with only Xherdan Shaqiri and long-term absentee Nathaniel Clyne ruled out from his senior squad.

The Reds trained at Melwood this morning ahead of flying from John Lennon Airport.

Takumi Minamino has been named in the 21-man group jetting out for the match.

Young keeper Caoimhin Kelleher is also included along with Alisson and Adrian.

Full squad: Alisson, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Keita, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Gomez, Adrian, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Lallana, Robertson, Origi, Matip, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold.

The home side, in contrast, have a few injury concerns for the last-16 tie.

While Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata should be available for selection once again, Kieran Trippier and Joao Felix are set to miss out according to reports in the Spanish press.
