Liverpool Comic Con is set to return to the city next year with a bang - and there’s a whole section dedicated to Harry Potter.
Earlier this year the convention announced its first star for 2020 , Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke, and there are plenty more to come.
For the first time ever, Liverpool Comic Con will have an entire area dedicated to Harry Potter, so fans can expect a magical experience.
Andrew Kleek, CEO and founder of Monopoly Events which hosts the convention, said: "We want to make Comic Con 2020 the best one yet, and introducing a Harry Potter theme to part of the event is a very exciting thought and will appeal to a vast amount of people.
"We will have props and set builds from the film including Hagrid's Hut, along with cosplayers and guests from the franchise.
"We are starting on preparation early this year for Comic Con, and have some huge announcements to come.
"The Harry Potter week of announcements will start next week and you'll be able to read more about who we have in the Echo."
The area, named For the Love of Fantasy Witchcraft & Wizard School, will offer potions classes, props and sets, and guests from the franchise.
Props from the Harry Potter set include Hagrid’s Hut, the famous blue Ford Anglia Ron and Harry commandeer in the second film, and much more.
There are a host of announcements set to come for Liverpool Comic Con 2020, including members of the Harry Potter cast.
Guests will have the chance to get photographs and autographs from a whole range of stars at the convention, which returns to the Exhibition Centre on March 6 - 8 2020.
