Liverpool city centre store Pavers to undergo huge refurb after 10 years

Pavers Shoes on Lord Street will be closing on Sunday, October 2 for a huge refit and makeover.

The store will be re-opened on Tuesday October 18 following a full refit to 'modernise' the store. The huge refurb will see a high street Pavers layout stocking Pavers' own-brand style as well as a new Skechers department, along with Reiker, Bugatti and more.

Pavers has been trading since 1971 and has more than 50 years of footwear knowledge. Over the past two years, the brand started its online and catalogue shopping to customers when stores had to be closed.

Since then, all 170 Pavers Shoes and Jones Bootmaker stores are welcoming customers through the door again. The new refurb comes after 10 years on Lord Street.

Area Manager Sunil Malhotra said: “After 10 years on Liverpool Lord St, we are giving the store a makeover. Pavers are very proud to be giving our customers an exciting new concept store, utilised to showcase our great range of product with no compromise on value and comfort. We can’t wait to welcome in both longstanding customer as well as new faces."

Head of Retail Gary Gordon added: "We are passionate about our physical stores that enable customers to browse our collections and find their perfect style. We understand that our customers often want advice and a human connection when they are shopping, and we are proud of our high street retail stores which deliver this".
