Liverpool city centre pubs that are not charging to watch Champions League final

Liverpool FC will go head to head with Tottenham Hotspur on June 1 to decide who will be European champions .

The city is already geared up for the big event, with pop-up shops open and huge outdoor screenings planned.

Football fans have voiced their anger this week as Liverpool fans anger at bars charging 'rip off' prices for Champions League final screenings .

But, plenty of city bars will be showing the big game completely free of charge on June 1.

Bars not charging to watch the Champions League final

The Scholar - offering free entry all day on a first come first served basis. Wristbands will be issued to the point of capacity.

Soho - free entry, though booths must be booked in advance.

Liverpool Guild of Students - free entry from 5pm to anyone with a valid student ID.

The Attic Bar  - free entry, plus “as much Jager as you can stomach”. There will also be a BBQ.

Brick Street - free entry for screening inside and outdoors in the venue’s rum garden Checkpoint Charlie

Thomas Rigbys and The Lady of Mann - free entry, unreserved seating and a promise of no price increases.

Flute - free entry, standing only left available

Champions League outdoor screening confirmed for Downtown in Cains Brewery  

McCooley’s - free entry, standing only left available

Einstein Bier Haus - free entry all day

Mackenzies Whisky Bar - free entry, though visitors do need to book a ticket in advance
