Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham all monitoring Leeds United loan star Ben White

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are among the Premier League clubs tracking Ben White.

According to Sky Sports on Monday afternoon, the trio have been scouting the on loan Brighton man at recent Championship matches.

The 22-year-old has impressed as a regular in Marcelo Bielsa’s side so far this season, helping the Whites to the top of the table.

The report also states that there is no break clause in White’s season-long loan deal from the Seagulls, so the most likely chance of a deal this month would be for a club to buy him and agree to loan him straight back to Leeds for the rest of the campaign.

Addressing the recent speculation, Brighton head coach Graham Potter said: "There is all sorts of talk, as we know.

"But the reality of it is that he is our player and he has got a future with us and we are looking forward to having him back at the right time and go from there. He is a player we like a lot.

"If you see how he plays, the attributes he has fit us. He is at Leeds now. He is on loan. You let that run and settle down at the end of the season. He is at Leeds and doing a good job there."

Leeds, it is believed, don't have the option to sign White permanently next summer with Brighton hoping to secure around £20m for the Poole-born defender.
