Former Liverpool winger Harry Kewell has been sacked as manager of National League side Barnet after a poor start to the season.
The 42-year-old, who started against Milan in the Reds’ 2005 Champions League triumph, was dismissed on Monday after the Bees lost 2-0 at Bromley on Saturday.
Barent are second bottom of the division after they took just two points from their opening seven matches of the season under Kewell.

The former Australia international was only appointed at The Hive in June following management spells in the Football League with Crawley, Notts County and Oldham.
Barnet’s Head of Football Dean Brennan told the club’s website : “It was clear how much Harry Kewell wanted to have a positive impact, but ultimately the results and the poor start to the season have dictated our decision.
“The plan for this season was for Barnet FC to be challenging in the top half of the table and that is still very much our aim.”
Kewell made 138 appearances for Liverpool between 2003 and 2008, scoring 16 goals, after joining from Leeds in a £5million deal.
While with the Reds, he lifted the FA Cup in 2006 a year after winning the Champions League.
Signing for Galatasaray after his Anfield exit, he returned to his homeland in 2011 to play for Melbourne Heart.
In 2015, he was appointed Watford Under-21s boss before taking the reins at Crawley in Mat 2017.
